I’m not saying that if you don’t come to my book launch Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Canadian Motor Hotel on Pim Street this masked guy will show up at your door the next day toting a chainsaw. But hey, anything’s possible.
Play it safe, show up and buy a book, Sex is a Four-Letter Word and Other Misconceptions, for $15. I’ll donate $1 of that to the Susan Barber Memorial Bursary. And I’m asking those who want their copy signed to make a donation to the Soup Kitchen. Snacks will be served, but you’re on your own for booze; my offshore holdings in the Cayman Islands are not as extensive as you might imagine.
It has also been confirmed that I’ll be doing a reading (hopefully more of a Q and A) at the main branch of the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library, Thursday, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. Free. More details later.
